My favorite art media is mosaics! Each piece is handcrafted and incorporates vintage and new broken china and stained glass. I use a variety of substrates, including stepping stones, bird houses and butterfly boxes for the garden, medallion mirrors, silver trays, clocks, wall plaques, jewelry boxes and many other beautiful items for the home as they become available. This beautiful ceramic heart is mosaiced with some of my favorite old china, gold tiles and stained glass. It is embellished with vintage jewelry. I have placed a hanger on the back for displaying on a wall or it can sit in a stand.

Another beautiful, handmade Mosaic Butterfly Box from the Rose Petal'R!
I used many of my favorite vintage china plates, combined with pastel stained glass, handmade tiles and gorgeous, clear-colored, glass mini tiles (the picture does not do them justice!) to create this fabulous Garden or Cottage accent. The two vertical slits are just perfect for the discerning FLUTTERBIES in your garden! They can dry their wings by resting on the delicate cup handle perch. There is a hole for hanging on the back side. Each of the four sides and the top are covered in china and glass in many coordinating patterns and colors to accent the prettiest Cottage, Chic or Victorian rooms. A sweet surprise is the top that slides open for peeking or hiding treasures.
The tiles and grout are sealed with three protective coats of indoor/outdoor sealer. Do not leave this piece in prolonged exposure to direct sun or freezing temperatures. Wipe clean with a soft cloth.
